The ZCashDevFund Major Grant Review Committee will discuss how they will be handling the largest slice of ZCash Development funding.
Zcash Foundation tweeted: “By the ElectricCoinCo’s request, we have modified the timeline to give candidates until September 1st to self-nominate on the Zcash Community Forum. Looking forward to seeing the Major Grant Review Committee shape up.”
Anyone willing to be a part of the MGRC committee for a one-year term will have to submit a forum post with five-paragraph or less in the governance section of the ZCash Community Forum, announce candidacy, outline priorities and vision for MGRC. Thus ZCash community members will be able to investigate and compare candidacies. All of these are scheduled to happen until June 01, 2020.
On June 05, 2020, all candidates will be answering the questions asked by the community members over a community video call.
On June 08, 2020, the Helios Poll will be opened to select the 5 members of the MGRC.
ZCash continues to be unique among privacy solutions. It has got strong Network Effects. There is greater anonymity for the entire system, and every new entrant contributes to anonymity.
Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweet: “Handling fund allocation is important to ensure that the right project gets the right amount. Zcash (ZEC) Foundation is very thoughtful about how they deal with the MGRC shape up.”
ZCash (ZEC) is like Bitcoin with an Invisibility Cloak
A non-crypto tweet from Zooko read thus: “In Hong Kong, just four people have died from the coronavirus. Zeynep explains how an ultradense city of more than 7 million people in overcoming all odds to beat the coronavirus—without much help from its government.”
Yet another idea that Zooko seemed to be impressed by was about how the crypto cycles despite being chaotic have created a steady growth of new ideas, projects, codes, and startups. Like leading to new ideas, codes, projects, and startups. All of these fundamental drivers of software innovation.
Some community members are of the opinion that ZCash is like Bitcoin with an invisibility cloak. In response to someone who stated that they do not understand Bitcoin yet, Zooko said Wait come back; we’re not finished explaining Bitcoin to you yet.”
He clarified, stating that basically Bitcoin (and ZCash) work the way you think* the US Dollar works, but the US Dollar does not work that way. Further concluded, people can pay it to each other, but nobody can counterfeit it. That’s it.
