TRON (TRX) Freezing is Expected to Improve the Performance of the Whole Network

Justin Sun pointed to how the TRON Network is still the lowest cost public chain.  He further expressed confidence in the TRON network becoming more prosperous with the efforts of all the communities.

While the community agrees about the prosperity of TRX ecosystem, some of them pointed to how the gas fees are increasing on Dapps. Further questioned, are we going to experience what happens some months ago with ETH causing many Dapps to close?

Sun pointed to the NO.47 and NO.48 voting request of TRON network initiated by Super Representative to be officially approved at 2:00 25th Nov. 2020(SGT): increase the resource cost of the TRON network. It is expected that after the proposal takes effect more Dapp developers will freeze the TRX, the freezing of the whole network will be greatly improved, and network will be more stable.

For those who missed stuff, early this month, TRON stopped the block production at 10:00 UTC for approximately two hours. This halting of the block production is considered to be important because it validates the centralization concerns that has been raised versus Tron Network that already has a gray reputation in the blockchain circles.

Of note, Tron makes use of Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) consensus mechanism. They have to state that the DPoS blockchains sacrifices decentralization to ensure throughput by centralizing certain transaction activities to majority nodes.

However, Sun clarified stating that the pause in the block production was due to an attacker exploiting the latest Tron software. He also stated that they had to updating the node’s software and after which the block production began.

TRON (TRX) Transactions

Many users who are interested to use Ethereum are annoyed by the high gas fees and the slow transaction speed.  They are now using ETH on TRON and enjoying the zero-fee nature of all TRC20 transactions.

Users felt wowed by something like the Wrapped ETH on TRON network where the fees gets paid in TRX. It just sounds cool.

Despite all the good things happening, one of the users expressed, “Sun, and the Tron Foundation, has given Tron a bad public image. Their constant nonsensical projects, fairly centralized management of the ecosystem, etc, and just Sun’s rhetoric, are all problematic.”

The most notable of putting the users of TRX in messy situations being the Shark DeFi and the Whitelisting recommendation based on which several investors decided to trust the project. No matter how hard we try to look in to the best that TRON has to offer, the community cries tell a different reality.
