Xinfin Fintech Pte. Ltd. on 21st August, 2020 gave a report of its first smart contract audit for Bridge Oracle, the first oracle system on Tron blockchain. The audit explored Bridge’s token contract to reveal any security issues manually and through an automated system.
The report identified and recommended that Bridge use a fixed compiler version because future versions may handle certain language construction in a way that the developers did not foresee. This is identified as a common case with all smart contracts and poses a low threat to the contract. Above Xinfin concluded that:
“The contract implements the TRC-20 standard functions, events, and state variables, and explicitly defines the visibility of each function. Overall we found the contract code to be clean and thoughtfully written with no major security issues or threats. We recommend a few minor changes & notes to keep in mind which have been mentioned in depth in the previous sections.”
Xinfin Hybrid block is an enterprise-ready Hybrid blockchain founded in 2017 and since established its presence huge user-base all over the world. Its developers have revealed their professionalism through diverse successful applications of smart contracts. The bridge token contract audit which was meant for ‘discussion purposes only’ will surely help Bridge community to add another layer of trust.
Third-party smart contract audit helps the crypto community in their due diligence and project teams to avoid mistake. The recent occurrence with Yam finance one-line smart contract bug could have been averted if smart contract audits like this have been identified earlier.
Bridge Oracle is the first ever public oracle systems on the Tron blockchain. Its oracles serves as a link between real world data and smart contracts on Tron blockchain. This means asset backed tokens like stablecoins can really bear their value. Sydney Ifergan, the founder of The Currency Analytics and a senior advisor opined:
“Well done @bridge_oracle , First #TokenAudit done by the Xinfin team! Clean code and well written. First exchange to be announced soon for the IEO… Thanks @XinFin_Official for the audit, you are professional, and working fast”
The platform since its launch has been up and doing, it has confirmed listings on top tiered cryptocurrency exchanges, BW and Digifinex. On this, Sydney Ifergan commented:
“No Games just hard work! well done @bridge_oracle you are doing great, already 2 confirmed listings #BW and #Digifinex , Already Audited by #xinfin for the #bridgetoken.. let’s make it big and visit #mars together!”
Oracle systems in recent times have proved its importance to blockchain technology especially with the recent boom in DeFi protocols. Tron blockchain has also proven itself with Just token making wave in the DeFi space, of a surety Bridge will become a known voice on the blockchain.
